Toast your walnuts! Raw walnuts have a bitter aftertaste that can overpower the other flavors in this recipe.
Chill before eating. You can eat the energy balls as soon as they’re rolled up but I find the flavor is 100% tastier if you refrigerate them for about 30 minutes first.
Toasting your nuts before grinding them helps remove some of that bitterness so the sweet coconut and tangy lime can really shine.
