Spoon Salsa

In the bottom of a 13x9, spoon 3/4 cup of the salsa in the bottom of the dish.

Season Chicken

Season the chicken with cumin, chili powder, and garlic salt before added chicken into the pan.

Place Chicken

Place chicken breasts over the salsa. Spoon the remaining salsa over the top of the chicken breasts.

Bake

Bake uncovered for about 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.

Add Cheese

Remove from oven and sprinkle cheese over the top. Return to oven for about 3-4 minutes, until melted.

Tips & Tricks

Slow cooker. Add salsa, seasonings, and chicken to slow cooker. Heat on low for 6 hours. Shred and enjoy topped with cheese.

Cheese options: Swap out the Mexican cheese blend with pepper jack, colby or cheddar cheese if you prefer.
